Who We Are

We are the Chippewas of Saugeen, an Anishinaabe community located on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron at the base of the Bruce Peninsula.

We are exercising our inherent right to our children and family wellbeing throughout our traditional territory in its entirety. The traditional territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, which we share with our sister community at Neyaashiinigmiing, spans 1.5 million acres from Goderich to Arthur to Collingwood and everything north to Tobermory.
